German Marshall Fund x NATO Brussels Forum 2022

GMF's Brussels Forum is the preeminent platform for global leaders, policymakers, and experts across sectors to shape the transatlantic agenda and debate the most pressing global challenges. Brussels Forum 2022 was a hybrid event due to COVID restrictions. My role was modified for this specific project, as I was spearheading Taoti Creative’s new virtual event site tool that could be offered to clients. I project managed and produced the virtual side of the event, working closely with GMF and NATO to ensure the creation of a sleek and bug-proof live event site. I worked with developers to create seamless visual and audio transitions, push virtual events live, and manage participants during the 5-day event.

Virtual Event Site Goals

GMF wanted the new virtual event site to increase brand awareness, integrate its alumni database, improve navigation based on user data, and improve overall cybersecurity. Our creative team used user journey mapping to understand and empathize with GMF’s users before creating the site, mapping the audience’s journey and finding ways to overcome potential challenges and barriers. This resulted in a new site that understood its users and collected data in a safe and efficient way.
